Behind the Scenes: My Journey, As It Relates to Podcasting

What's the point of starting my own podcast?

This is the number one question that I hear from my clients and my community.

Why should I start my own podcast when the market is oversaturated? Why should I start my own podcast when there's already somebody else who's talking about the specific thing that I want talk about? Why should I start my own podcast if nobody knows who I am?

These are the questions that I hear on a daily basis when I help entrepreneurs start, grow, and monetize their shows. So I thought about this question myself, and I thought about why I wanted to start this podcast.

The answers to all of those questions will be found throughout this series, and in all of the content that we get to create together. In these episodes, you're going to understand exactly why you should be starting your podcast, even if you feel like nobody is going to listen.

In this conversation, I’m taking you behind the scenes into my journey, as it relates to podcasting.

In the episode, we get into:

  • [0:00] Intro

  • [3:45] The journey to starting my agency

  • [5:30] What makes me “qualified” to teach about podcasting, and the dark night of the soul journey that brought me here

  • [8:50] What hard moments taught me about self growth

  • [11:35] How I built a community

  • [15:50] Getting to choose our journey

As you know, podcast reviews are rather important. The more reviews and kind words we receive, the more humans like you we’ll be able to serve & uplift. I’d be so grateful if you left me a review and a note letting me know what the most insightful part of the episode was for you.
