How to Navigate Feeling Unworthy with Sandra Chuma

In this episode, we’re talking about what it means to feel worthy with my guest Sandra Chuma.

Sandra grew up in a tiny mud hut in Zimbabwe without running water or electricity at a time when  the country was segregated and she remembers struggling to understand why she couldn’t play with kids who had a different skin color than her.

But she also remembers the magical times spent with her grandmothers around the kitchen fire, as they shared folktales or ‘ngano’ as they are known in her native language of Shona. Through these stories, her family instilled in her a belief that even more was possible for her than what she could see or imagine. Even though sometimes you may have to fight to be seen, to be heard, or to feel like you belong.

These beliefs have informed her life and have provided the foundation for her business, I Am Worthy.

Join us for a beautiful discussion about how you can find more faith in yourself, being impeccable with your word, and creating a life you love and truly know you are worthy of.

On the episode, we get into:

About Sandra Chuma

Sandra Chuma is a storyteller, keynote speaker, entrepreneur, and fire starter!

She was raised in a tiny mud hut in Zimbabwe without running water or electricity. At that time her country was segregated, and she remembers struggling to understand why she couldn’t play with kids who had a different skin color than her.

But she also remembers the magical times spent with her grandmothers around the kitchen fire, as they shared folktales or ‘ngano’ as they are known in her mother tongue Shona. Through these stories, they instilled in her a belief that more was possible for her than what she could see or imagine even though sometimes you have to fight to be seen, to be heard, and to feel like you belong.

She helps you choose faith — in yourself, in the goodness of others, and in your power to make a difference.

Storytelling is her absolute passion and she loves celebrating stories of creativity, resilience, advocacy and achievement that remind us of the true heart of success: uplifting ourselves, and uplifting others.

There is nothing she loves more than helping people realize their infinite potential through the power of story because stories have the power to move us, to inspire us, to change us.
